How long does it take to assemble a flat pack container house?

A standard 20ft flat pack container unit assembles in 2–4 hours with a 3–4 person crew using basic hand tools (the range covers fit-out level and site access). No crane, welding, or specialized equipment required. For larger projects: a 10-unit compound assembles in 2-3 days, a 50-unit compound in 5-7 days, and a 100-unit compound in 10-12 days with a 12-person crew.
Do I need special tools or equipment to assemble a flat pack container?

No heavy equipment required. The assembly tool kit includes: electric screwdriver (or cordless drill), socket wrench set (10-19mm), spirit level, rubber mallet, utility knife, and measuring tape. All units come with a detailed assembly manual (English, with video guide available). The bolt-together design requires no welding, no crane, and no specialized construction skills.
Can I disassemble and move the container house to another location?

Absolutely. The bolt-together flat pack design is specifically engineered for disassembly and relocation — a key advantage over welded container houses. Simply reverse the assembly process to flat-pack the unit back into its shipping configuration. Typical multi-project service life is 10+ years with 3-5 relocations.
What foundation is needed for a flat pack container house?

Minimal foundation requirements — one of the biggest cost advantages. Options include: (1) Concrete block footings (most common, 6-8 blocks per 20ft unit); (2) Adjustable steel screw piles (ideal for uneven terrain); (3) Concrete slab (only for permanent installation); (4) Compacted gravel pad (temporary sites). No deep foundation, no excavation, no heavy civil works needed.
